Additionally, keep in mind location has an effect on the strength of rays. Being at a high altitude or closer to the equator means you're closer to the sun and the rays are more direct.

True. Studies have shown that application of alpha-hydroxy acids (ADA's) and topical applications of glycolic acid causes an increase in sensitivity to UV rays. When exposed to the sun we tend to burn more easily when using AHAs. Therefore, we strongly recommend that if and when you use AHAs, you follow up with the use of sun protection, daily.

The Rose Hips Seed Oil is extracted from the ROSA AFF RUBIGINOSA, a delicate rose that grows wild on the high mountains in Chile, South America. This seed oil contains high levels of essential fatty acids such as:Oleic, Linoneic, and Linolenic Acids. These acids are essential in the synthesis of prostaglandin's, cell membranes, defense mechanisms, growth and other physiological and biochemical processes in tissue regeneration. The presence of these ingredients make the 'Rose Hips Oil' an active natural product in this regeneration; noted as successful in the prevention of early signs of aging and attenuating scars. In the pollution free environment of Southern Chile grows a wild rose known as Rosa Aff. Rubiginosa. When its pods are squeezed they release an oil rich in essential fatty acids, which are in part responsible for the plant's beneficial action. The positive action in helping to regenerate damaged skin tissues was originally attributed to its high content of essential fatty acids, namely oleic, linoleic and linolenic. The domestic variety of Rose Hip Oil does not have the high content of essential fatty acids that makes the Rose Hips Oil, from Chile so effective.
